O Jezebel

Ephesians 6:12 KJV -For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places .

O Jezebel, how you love to set your snare. You knock on my door and speak words of flattery, winking, with charm galore.

You weave a web of seduction, leaving trails of falsehoods. You smile at my reproach, and mix tinctures of poison to slip into my cup unawares.

You profess love to me, and spoil me with kisses and gifts. Yet, your venom is a slow kill, poisonous deceit and subtle entrapments. Waiting for the moment to bury me and start again.

Your promises are empty, your love is false, your beauty is vain. Your paths are that of witchcraft and idolatry, wicked through and through.

You conjure up tears to draw them in, yea you play the part. You speak half truths and set their paths astray. Anchoring those who swim up for air.

O Jezebel, you have set your path against the Most High and His ways! How you defile the innocent, deprive the weak, and leverage the poor. I have seen the depths of your deeds.

Your fangs devour the meek, you coil around righteous to suffocate the very breath of life from their lungs, the Spirit of the Holy One. Walking death.

O Jezebel, how treacherous you are! Dressed in pride, you laugh as you plot destruction. Cloaked in a facade of righteousness - If only they knew they would seek the truth.

If only they knew, they would plead to the LORD of hosts, they would hide under His wings. If wisdom begot them, they would call out to Yeshua and cling to the cross!

Proverbs 6:24-35 KJV - To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. [25] Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. [26] For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. [27] Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?
