Party of Death

10/27/18 - I had a disturbing dream last night/this morning, and I'm not sure if it's from the LORD but it could be or it could be Satan haunting me:

I'm walking with some friends as we are all just hanging out having a good time, we are walking to someone's apartment or house for a meet up or social gathering.

When we arrived at the place, we all were just hanging out looking to have fun, we didn't notice the room was filled with a huge snake that was coiled around the apartment, and the couple who lived there looked dead. There was a sense of danger as it seems we had all fallen into some sort of a trap.

All of a sudden, the snake's tail enters into one of the dead persons neck/spine and begins making them talk, and then the snake does the same thing to that person's husband. It was like the snake was using the people as puppets, and the man said something like, "what you didn't know I was controlling them?" The snake was talking through them... It seemed the snake was planning to kill us.. Then I woke up...

Commentary

I felt the dream was symbolizing life in general, we were all sinning and having a good time, and going to a party with a snake (Satan). Little did we know, Satan was controlling the people (Ephesians 6:12), and he has evil intentions for us all.

If you believe this dream is from the LORD, please pray about it .. (Acts 2:17) I urge you to turn from your sins and give your life to Jesus Christ before it's too late!

Many times God Almighty, the Holy One of Israel - the creator of all things, uses events from the Old Testament (Tanakh) that will be a shadow of things revealed in the New Testament. Most events point towards the the Messiah - God manifested in the flesh, who is known as Jesus Christ. This makes it clear that He is the same God yesterday as today, and that He has an order and reason for everything.

When God brought the Israelites into the wilderness/desert, many of them sinned against God and were bitten by poisonous serpents, and the only way to be healed is to look upon the serpent on a pole and have faith in God's word through Moses. God did this so we may understand the symbolism - the serpent is the Devil/Satan, and if we are disobedient to God, Satan will destroy us. I assume many of the Israelites did not understand that.

This is also foreshadowing, because Christ was also lifted up for the world to see on a crucifix, and whosoever believes in Him shall not perish. The following scripture references show us the message that was revealed.

Revelation 20:2 (KJV)

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

--------------

Numbers 21:6-9 (KJV)

6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

John 3:14-18 (KJV)

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 ¶ He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 12:32-34 (KJV)

32 And I, if I (Jesus) be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.

34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

Jesus was speaking of His crucifixion that was to come as an atonement offering for our sins (Isaiah 53).
